He has played drums with the world-renown Kim Duk-su samulnori group that solidly established samulnori onto the global stage. Currently, he is a member of the Silkroad Ensemble led by cellist, Yo-yo Ma. He also teaches an online Korean traditional performance class at Wonkwang Digital University to enable international students to learn Korean music without having a private teacher.
